1. Who we are

ProfitCalc ("ProfitCalc", "we", "us") provides a profit calculator and pricing toolkit for any business. This policy explains what information we collect when you use profitcalc.co and our related services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

• Account data. When you sign up we collect your email address, and — if you use Google sign-in — your name and profile image from Google.
• Product data you create. Saved products, competitor entries, quotes, and price history that you save while using the app.
• Billing data. If you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe collects and stores your payment details. We only retain a Stripe customer ID and your current plan — we never see or store your card number.
• Usage data. Basic request logs (IP, browser, pages visited) used for security and to improve the service.

3. How we use your data

• To create and maintain your account.
• To provide the calculator, dashboard, and any paid features you subscribe to.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send essential account emails (password resets, receipts, service notices).
• To detect abuse, prevent fraud, and keep the service secure.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not run third-party ad trackers.

4. Who we share data with

We rely on a small number of processors to operate the service:

• Supabase — account, profile, and product data storage.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Vercel — application hosting and request logs.

Each of these processors has its own privacy policy and handles data under its own terms. We may also disclose data if required by law.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time by emailing us (see below) — when you do, we delete your profile and product data within 30 days. Billing records may be retained longer where required by law.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. No online service can be 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

8. Children

ProfitCalc is not intended for anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
